Fall Events

Greetings friends!

I hope you're having a great summer, and enjoying the little bit of rain and cooler weather we've had in Western Montana. I've been on the road a lot this summer, and am currently feeling so grateful for the beauty, the ease and the space that we have here. I find our landscape helps me remember the spaciousness within my own self!

Following is a list of some upcoming events happening this fall. I'm grateful to be sharing some NVC training with my good friend Aimee Ryan. We'll be doing a couple all day workshops in the Flathead valley and a couple at the University of Montana too. I hope you can share this info. with anyone you know who may be interested!

Warm regards,

Patrick

REGISTRATION

Whether switching jobs or moving, leaving school or retiring, all of us are going through some kind of transition.  During this course, we will invite you to look at the current external changes happening in your life and we’ll explore how to make the necessary internal shifts to live the life you want by connecting with your needs and values.

We will explore the meaning of empathy and how to give it to ourselves and ask for it from others, how to be more aware and communicate our own feelings and needs, and how to live an authentic life that is in line with our current values. Using hands-on, experiential learning, this course will use the skills and practice of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), a powerful methodology for self-connection and awareness.

Facilitated by Patrick Marsolek and Aimee Ryan.

Connecting Across Generations – University of Montana

Thursday, October 16th 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
UM Campus, Payne Family Native American Center
Cost: $45  –  Register Here

Whether you’re trying to connect with a parent, child,  grandchild, or colleague from another generation, intergenerational communication can be unsatisfying, challenging or even upsetting.  However, when you are connected to your own feelings and values and can respond empathically, you have an opportunity to bridge the gap and connect across generations with ease and authenticity.

Using hands-on, experiential learning, this course will use the skills and practice of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) to:

  • Explore how generational values and experience shape the way we see things and each other
  • Strengthen connection within your community
  • Discover shared values in the differences within in our own families
  • Develop empathy and compassion for people in different stages in life, while staying true to yourself in the process

Facilitated by Patrick Marsolek and Aimee Ryan.
